Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar and transfer to Pahalgam

Arrive at Srinagar Airport and drive to Pahalgam (approximate 3 hours drive). Places to be covered on the way: Avantipura Ruins and Saffron Fields. Overnight at Pahalgam.

Day 2: Pahalgam (Shepherds Village) local sightseeing

Early morning visit Baisaran (Mini Switzerland), Dabyan & Kashmir Valley on pony. After lunch visit Betab Valley & Chandanwadi by private vehicle. Subject to availability of time additional places to be covered viz. Pahalgam Club Park, Lidderview Park, Amusement Park & Deer Park. Overnight at Pahalgam.

Day 3: Pahalgam - Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers)

After breakfast check out from hotel at Pahalgam and drive to Gulmarg (Approximate 2 hours). After reaching Gulmarg go for the Gondola ride: Phase – I upto Kongdori (10,000 feet) and Phase – II from Kongdori to Apharwat (13,000 feet). Phase II remains open subject to weather condition. Overnight at Gulmarg.

Day 4: Gulmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast drive to Srinagar (approximate 2 hours). After lunch and little rest go for Shikara Ride in the famous Dal Lake. Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 5: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for Srinagar local sightseeing and cover places like Pari Mahal, Chasme Shahi, the famous Mughal Gardens viz. Nishat & Shalimar Gardens, Sankaracharya Temple and Hazratbal Shrine. Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 6: Srinagar - Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold)

Early morning drive to Sonamarg (approximate 3 hours). After reaching Sonamarg head for Tejawas Glacier on pony. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Sonamarg.

Day 7: Sonamarg - Srinagar

After breakfast check out from hotel at Sonamarg and drive back to Srinagar (approximate 3 hours). Overnight at Srinagar.

Day: 8: Manasbal Lake & Wular Lake visit

After breakfast drive to Manasbal and Wular Lake. Evening drive back to Srinagar. Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 9: Fly back to Mumbai

Early morning visit Dachigam National Park. After breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport on time to catch the flight to Mumbai. Fly back to Mumbai with sweet memories of your Kashmir Tour.

Itinerary was informative and had enough tour details. According to me Chandanwadi at Pahalgam can improve. A lot of bargaining took place, prices were too high and the place was also not maintained well. The vehicles were already on time. We were securely received at the airport by Mr. Fayaz Ahmed, who was an excellent driver, a great company and informative and good person by heart. Enjoyed our time travelling with him. At Pahalgam our resort Fresh Water Resort was excellent. Mr. Bashia and Mr. Shabir came to all our needs. Heevan at Gulmarg was total waste of time and money. The room was too small for 4 people. Taj at Srinagar exceeded our expectations and so did Villa Himalaya at Sonamarg. Food at Fresh Water Resort, Pahalgam was made at our convenience and also at Villa Himalaya, Sonamarg. Taj was Taj. It’s buffet was great and whatever we asked was given to us. A special thanks to Devinder Kumar, Falak and Abhishek (the Chef). Heevan’s food wasn’t quiet enjoyable. Everywhere the quality of food served to us was great. Kaushal from TravelMap was available round the clock for any help required that made the trip really fun filled.
