Day 1

Arrive at Guwahati Airport and drive to Nameri Tiger Reserve. Overnight at Nameri.

Day 2

Early morning go for the Jungle Safari. After breakfast check-out from the Camp and drive to Dirang via Tipi Orchid Centre, Lukum Falls, Nechu Pass, Tenga, Bomdila, Munna. (Lunch can be taken at Nagmandir). Overnight at Dirang.

Day 3

After breakfast transfer to Tawang. On the way take a tea / momos stop at Baishaki army camp. After Baishaki drive to Sela Top as well as Pass, Jaswantgarh War Memorial and Jung waterfalls. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 4

After breakfast visit PT Tso & Shengester Lake along with Bum La (Optional). Return to hotel by late afternoon. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 5

After breakfast visit Buddha Park, Craft Emporium, Urgelling Monastery (Birth place of 6th Dalai Lama, the ancient Tawang monastery which is second largest Buddhist monastery outside Lhasa, (lunch one can take at Coffee House near Tawang Monastery), War Memorial (Sound & Light show around 4.30 / 5 p.m.). Overnight at Tawang.

Day 6

After breakfast check-out from the hotel at Tawang and transfer to Bomdila. On the way visit Kiwi and Apple Orchards near Dirang and then visit Sangti Valley. Overnight at Bomdila.

Day 7

After breakfast check-out from the hotel at Bomdila and transfer to Kaziranga. On the way visit lower and upper monastery. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 8

Early morning and afternoon go for the Jungle Safari. Evening go for the cultural programme (optional). Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 9

Early morning go for the Jungle Safari. After breakfast and freshen up transfer to Shillong. On the way visit Umiam (Barapani) Lake. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 10

After breakfast go for Shillong local sightseeing viz. Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Lady Hydari Park, Wards Lake, Golf Course, Wankhar Entomology Museum, Don Bosco Museum, Mawphlang Sacred Forest and State Museum. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 11

Early morning after breakfast drive to Dawki. After boating at Dawki and lunch on the way drive to Mawlynnong Village. It is claimed to be the cleanest village in Asia. Also walk to the living root – bridge near the village. These bridges are unique formations built by the secondary roots of the rubber trees. Evening transfer to Cherrapunjee. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

Day 12

Early morning after breakfast go for Cherrapunjee local sightseeing and visit places viz. Nohkalikai Falls (4th tallest free falling waterfall in the world), Mawsmai Caves, Arwah Caves, Nohsngithiang (Seven Sisters Falls), Ramakrishna Mission Museum, Thangkharang Park, Kynrem Falls, Khoh Ramhah / Pillar Rock and Bangladesh Flood plains. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

Day 13

After breakfast go for Double Decker Living root bridge trek in the morning. Subject to availability of time one can go upto Rainbow Waterfall. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

Day 14

After breakfast check out from Cherrapunjee and drive to Guwahati Airport. Subject to availability of time do Guwahati local sightseeing covering Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, local market, Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra, Balaji Temple, Assam State Museum. Evening transfer to Guwahati Airport to catch the flight.

Itinerary was very informative. Details regarding tourists spots, distance, time required etc. was well depicted. Accordingly we planned our check-ins and check-outs from hotels. We asked for comfortable vehicle for 6 people. Innova was arranged with carrier. We experienced comfortable and safe journey; even in hilly areas. We can deeply explore natural beauty of Meghalaya and Assam states with an ease. Kaziranga – Infinity Resort- Excellent stay in nature’s womb. Greeted with courtesy and personal attention was given.

Shillong –Habitat Shillong- I find this place commercialised, congested, crowded with traffic jam. Hotel and rooms were very small, narrow parking area. Hotel was beautified with fresh flowers and antique pieces which was attractive and eye pleasing. Cherrapunjee – Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort- Not up to the mark – Disappointed. Location of resort was beautiful. I thoroughly appreciate and enjoyed performance of local people (artists) in the evening. Food arrangements between the journey was excellent. Chandan’s (Driver) suggesstions were really good, like Jiva Dhaba and Hotels, Anuraag Dhaba, City Hut Family Dhaba at Shillong. Clean, beautiful and attractive ambience. Overall food quality at stay in both the states – Vegetarian food is preferable as availbale fresh and organic…so food was tasty. In Jiva/Anuraag/City Hut–Food quality was good and delicious, with lots of variety like Indian , continental, Thai etc. At Kaziranga National Park – Two Safaris were arranged. Worth watching rhino, Elephants, swamp deer, flora and fauna of Assam in gypsy. Early morning Elephant Safari was a treat, felt connected to nature and explored freshness of nature. Chandan- Driver-cum-Guide —was very polite, punctual, well-versed with local region and situations. Had informative conversations during travels. Ranjit- Kaziranga Safari – had lots of knowledge about the birds, animals and plants in the region. Had nice time, give and take; during Safari.

Meghalaya and Assam….I had visited for the first time. Highly impressed by unexlored beautiful nature, cleanliness, hard working and softspoken natives. I appreciate efforts for the development of tourism; by the local community and government. More and more people should visit.

Kaziranga -Shillong – Cherrapunjee Tour

This is just to express my gratitude for everything that you & ur associates arranged for our glorious itinerary in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh & Meghalaya. It was a great experience with utmost pleasure and precious memories to recollect for ever. I must appreciate your follow up and promising support in all awkward times in general as well as critical situation like we encountered in Tawang due to heavy snow fall. We had studied and decided the places to visit. Your itinerary covered all the places we planned to visit. It shows your study of North East and tourism there. From pick up at Guwahati airport to drop there, on the last day, travel arrangements were great and perfect. Mr. Dilip Barman was guide more and driver less. He was a great company on the tour. I have lot of appreciation for him. Very disciplined and punctual. All the hotels were good. We got good service at all the hotels. Hospitality and management was appreciable. Actually, we did not expect such lovely food. Breakfast was very good. But we had lovely dinner at all the hotels, you suggested. We were senior citizens. We loved the food. With good food, we had a healthy tour. All the three salaries at Kaziranga were fantastic. Ranjit, safari driver at Kaziranga, was good at his job. Because of him we saw *THE REAL KAZIRANGA. Your support and response was always there. Most appreciated was your support during Tawang snowfall. Thanks for helping us to change plan, in the crisis time. That must be appreciated. Also convey our thanks and appreciation to Hotel Dekhang, Tawang, for complementary dinner, in crisis. It was our first experience with you. I think, we will approach you for our next tours.
