Kanha Tiger Reserve
It is prime tigerland... the epitome of Kipling country with sal forests of sunlight and shadows, a myriad stream, rolling meadows and all the wildlife imaginable. Home to one of the world's most endangered deer - the hardground barasingha - this amazing National Park helped pioneer the advent of scientific conservation management in India. It is justifiably held out as one of Project Tiger's star success stories. Virtually everyone who visits Kanha comes away moved by its diversity.
Catholic Church
Pachmarhi Catholic Church is a colonial era Church in Pachmarhi near town centre.
Jata Shankar
It is a Lord Shiva Cave temple near Pachmarhi town centre. One is required to walk a few steps (about 500 meters walk) to access the temple. Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple is also visited alongwith.
Apsara Vihar
It is one a popular waterfall near Pachmarhi. The waterfall is approachable via a short walk.
Reechgarh
A set of caves enroute to Sunrise / Sunset point where Bears used to take shelter earlier.
Handi Khoh
It is a view point where one can see valleys and gorges around alongwith the thick reserve forest.
Bee Falls
It is one of the popular waterfalls in and around Pachmarhi. Bee Falls are approachable via a short downhill walk. There are tea stalls set up at the Bee falls serving soft drinks, noodles and some snacks.
Dutchess Falls
It is one of the waterfalls in and around Pachmarhi where one require to trek a bit. Dutchess Falls are approachable via a short but steep 1 km downhill walk. There are tea stalls set up at the falls serving soft drinks, noodles and some snacks.
Gupt Mahadeo
It is a cave temple that lies at the foothills of Churagarh trek at about 100 meters walk from parking area. One is required to pass through a narrow cave for the Darshan.
Bada Mahadeo
It is situated near Gupt Mahadeo is a Lord Shiva Temple set in a large cave with water dripping on the Shivling as well all over inside the cave.
Chauragarh Peak
It is home to Chauradevi Temple and is accessible via a 3 km walk involving about 500 steps. The top offers view of the surrounding hills, valleys and reserve forests.
Marble Rocks
They are white rocks with views of black and dark green volcanic seams are unique and therefore well visited. A boat ride is popular with guests.
Dhuandhar Waterfalls
Narmada makes its way through the Marble Rocks narrows down and then plunges in a waterfall known as Dhuandhar. It’s a spectacular site and there is a cable car ride that takes one all the way to the hilltop temple.
Pandav Caves
A Set of Caves where it is believed that Pandavas (Mahabharata) stayed over.
Day 1
Arrive at Pipariya Railway Station and transfer to the Hotel at Pachmarhi. After completing check-in formalities and little rest visit Pandav Caves, Jata Shankar Temple, Catholic Church, Reenchgarh (Caves), Bee Falls, Apsara Vihar and Museum. Evening visit to Sunset point. Overnight at Pachmarhi.
Day 2
After breakfast visit Dutches Fall, Gupt Mahadev, Bada Mahadev, Chauragarh Temple (to climb up steps). After Chauragarh visit to Handi Khoh (Deep Valley) and after that proceed for boating. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Pachmarhi.
Day 3
After breakfast checkout from the hotel at Pachmarhi and proceed to Kanha Tiger Reserve. (approximately 5 hours). Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kanha.
Day 4
Early morning and afternoon go for the Jungle Safaris. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kanha.
Day 5
Early morning go for the last Jungle Safari. After safari check-out from the Resort and proceed to Jabalpur (approximately 4 hours) en-route visit Marble Rocks. Marble Rocks is an area near Jabalpur (25 kms) along a river having soft marble on both sides creating a beautiful gorge of about 3 km in length. Dhuandhar Waterfalls is also worth a visit alongwith the temple on the hilltop (reachable via Cable car ride). Reach Jabalpur by Evening. Overnight at Jabalpur.
Day 6
After breakfast and freshen up depart for Jabalpur Railway Station. Tour ends.
