It is a “Green Oasis” in the southernmost part of the Maharashtra State and has a great significance from the point of view of wildlife and bio-diversity conservation. This sanctuary is locked in the arms of the nature and is adorned with picturesque landscape, luxuriant vegetation and serves as living outdoor museum to explore and appreciate the nature. This sanctuary embodies one of the best of our remaining forests, in the remote part of Yavatmal district. The Tippeshwar wildlife sanctuary derives its name from the ‘Goddess Tipai’ located near the Tippeshwar village in the sanctuary area. The place shelters a wide array of animals that include Tiger, Hyena, Chital, Black buck, Sambar, Jackal, Wild boar, Blue bull, Wild cat, Bear and many more.

Day 1

Arrive at Nagpur Railway Station / Airport and transfer to Tippeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary (approximately 2 & ½ hours). Afternoon head for the first Jungle Safari. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Tippeshwar.

Day 2

Early morning and afternoon go for the Jungle Safaris. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Tippeshwar.

Day 3

Early morning leave for the last Jungle Safari. Return to resort. After freshen up depart for Nagpur Railway Station / Airport.

My experience with TravelMap

I was watching this movie “Born in China” and it was about black cranes, snow leopards, pandas and other wildlife in China few days ago. It transported me back to Ladakh and my travel with Kaushal’s TravelMap group there. Well we were not lucky to see the snow leopards, Kaushal made it up by showing us black cranes, eagles, mormots, migratory birds and what not.

While the beauty for instance of Ladakh or Sundarbans or Tadoba & Pench is an experience in itself, TravelMap ensures to make the stay and journey memorable as well. Some of the best places to stay, with very good food and some time to relax (you are on a vacay) makes it just right. Each day is planned meticulously such that it becomes a revelation.

I have been looking forward to travel again to explore newer destinations with TravelMap and it’s just a matter of time..
